The Ghana police insist on arresting anyone who flaws 31st night directives.

The police issued a directive cautioning religious leaders to desist from prophecies that are likely to cause fear and panic. The directives were issued in other to avert what happened in previous years where proclaimed men of God gave death prophecies about people.

Many religious leaders supported the idea and others condemn it with the view the, religious leaders should have been consulted before passing that directives to the public.

The Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council (GPCC) supports the statement issued by th IGGP.
