Ethopian crisis still alarming as Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed is planning to undertake another defense strategy after Tigray forces refuse to surrender after the 72 hours Altumatum that was give on Wednesday expires. He ordered the Ethiopian military to launch an offensive on Mekelle in the “third and final phase” of the federal government’s military campaign against the TPLF.
UN said it fears is on the destruction of lives and properties of the civilians. Ethopian government has denied the involvement of UN Officials for mediation saying the conflict is an internal issue which they will try to solve in the course.
Prime Minister Abiy promise to fight against the Tigray forces without destroying lives and property and has therefore asked civilians to stay indoors as the military embark on this assignment. Lives seems somehow unbearable but report reaching SkyNet News reveals that cafes and restaurants in the city were “almost full” with people within the early hours this morning.
Thousands are killed and more than 40,000 people flee from Ethopia during this conflict.
Meanwhile millitary has been deployed by the prime minister to guide the boarders to prevent the citizens from crossing the boarder to neighbouring countries such as Sudan.
Refugees are therefore stranded at the boarders.
